Have an IRA?
If you are over 70 ½ years old you may be able to have your IRA custodian transfer funds directly from your IRA to the Livonia Goodfellows, Inc. Distributions must be made directly from the IRA to the charity, not to the IRA owner or beneficiary. You can’t claim the qualified charitable distribution as a charitable deduction, but the distribution does not count as taxable income.
