The City of Livonia Department of Parks and Recreation is now planning for our 14th Annual Turkey Trot on Saturday, October 21 at 9:30 a.m. Participants will be walking/running to raise money for the Livonia Goodfellows, an organization that donates Christmas dinners and presents to the less fortunate in Livonia.
We are currently seeking Livonia businesses to help sponsor this upcoming event. Gift certificates or monetary donations of $100 or more will earn your organization’s name on the back of our event t-shirt, on-site signage the day of the event, and a listing in the spring/summer edition of the Parks and Recreation L Magazine which is distributed to over 39,000 households in Livonia. Any gift certificates or merchandise that we receive will be given away as raffle prizes to participants who bring in canned goods to donate to the Livonia Goodfellows. If you are choosing to make a monetary donation, please make your check out to “Livonia Goodfellows” and mail your check to the Kirksey Recreation Center. If your business is interested in being on-site the day of the event, please contact me as soon as possible for further details. (Please note: Donations must be received by Monday, October 16, in order for your business’ name to be included on the t-shirt.)
Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact Scott Spahr (734) 466-2912 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
